sometimes all that’s left is the feeling of clean linen on your skin and the wind blowing through the window, the sound of birds chirping and cars. sometimes there’s nothing more settling than knowing that you’ve been held by good arms, you’ve been heard with good ears, you’ve been spoken to with good tongues and you’ve been touched by good hands. sometimes all it takes is one word, one look and you know that you’re seen and cared for. sometimes it doesn’t matter what you eat and drink in a day, as long as you’ve prepared your food with the intention to keep yourself alive. sometimes intention is all that’s needed. sometimes, some sporadic times, it’s not unthought of to say “i really do love life and i do want to stay alive for it”
